Marvel Rivals patch 20261022 is rolling out right now, October 22 at 09:00 UTC, and NetEase is doing it with zero server downtime. Just update and queue. The headline is the next phase of Path to Doomsday: a full Avengers: Endgame PvE mode that throws 50 players at Thanos himself, plus a fresh batch of store bundles, Times Square activities with free rewards, and a long list of hero and presentation fixes. The full patch notes are up on the official Marvel Rivals site.

Marvel Rivals Patch 20261022: the Endgame PvE mode

The big one is Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame, a 50-player PvE mode where the roster assembles in the ruins of the Avengers Compound to fight a Thanos from the past who has breached the timeline and is trying to tear the cosmos apart. Creative director Guangyun Chen has said the mode is built to recreate the film's final battle, all the way down to the "I am inevitable" beat, which is exactly the kind of fanservice this game is best at.

There is a catch on timing. The event period runs October 22 to November 26, but the mode itself officially opens on October 24 UTC and then runs for four consecutive weeks in limited windows. The announced sessions are October 24 from 01:00 to 03:00 UTC and from 18:00 to 20:00 UTC, with subsequent weeks following the same limited-session pattern. If you plan to play it, those windows matter more than the overall event dates.

Participation pays. Playing the mode earns the Captain America: The Winter Soldier costume for free, alongside other rewards. NetEase has been generous with free costumes this season, and this one is a genuinely good pull for Cap players.

New store bundles and Times Square events

The store refresh lands October 23 at 02:00 UTC. Headlining it are the Black Cat Fatal Weaver bundle and the Elsa Bloodstone Gothic Huntress bundle, both available through November 20. Also arriving the same day are the Jeff the Land Shark Sharknos bundle, the Black Cat Fatal Weaver emoji bundle, and the Shawarma and The Snap emote combo bundles. No end dates were listed for those four, so treat them as limited.

Times Square is running two Endgame activities from October 22 through November 26. At the highlights screening, watching Endgame clips continuously for two minutes unlocks the exclusive Avengers: Endgame Gallery Card. At the iconic scene photo walls outside the Avengers' Gift Shop, taking a group photo with the NPCs pays out 100 Units instantly. Both are quick and free, so there is no reason to skip them before the November 26 cutoff.

Marvel Rivals patch 20261022 hero fixes

This patch is mostly bug fixes rather than balance changes. Three heroes get fixes: Black Cat's Portal Paws can no longer leave her unable to use wall portals right after casting Fortune's Favor: Phantom Pursuit, Black Widow's Widow's Bite Slam no longer causes abnormal directional shifting, and Hawkeye's hands no longer appear empty when switching from his Psionic Arrow to standard arrows.

Elsewhere, competitive players get a real quality-of-life fix: Team Wipes now correctly count toward ACE achievements even if someone on the other team already quit the match. There are also audio fixes for The Punisher's Dangan Ronin costume with the Daredevil Team-Up and Hawkeye's Psylocke Team-Up, plus a fix for the wrong MVP animation playing when you swapped heroes mid-round and the enemy team surrendered. Doctor Strange's Infinity War costume, Blade's Vampire King costume, and Thor's The Avengers costume all get model clipping and animation polish.

Why this patch matters

Season 10.5 has been quietly one of Marvel Rivals' strongest content runs. The Infinity War 2v2 mode (which runs through December 11), the Halloween events, and now a 50-player Endgame raid give the live service a constant drumbeat leading into Season 11 on November 13. Compared to the typical "balance patch plus two skins" cadence of hero shooters, NetEase is shipping events with real substance here.

If you want to see how live-service shooters are handling big seasonal updates elsewhere, THE FINALS Season 12 overhaul is worth a look, and Fortnite's 42.40 patch landed in the same week with its own Halloween content.
